- Shareholding of MBL transferred to Pacific Holdings
1954
- MBL bought 66% of the shareholding of SPB.
- San Miguel left as the major shareholder of SPB.

- SP Lager exported to Australia.
- SP Gold Launched.
- South Pacific Export Lager Brand revamp.
1965
- PNG citizens allowed to consume alcohol
1969
- SP Brewery sponsors the South Pacific Games for the 1st time
1975
- PNG gains Independence

- Launch of South Pacific Export Lager

- SP Brewery acquired Territory United Brewery Ltd (San Miguel)

- SP Brewery acquires Pepsi Franchise.
